英語のポイント
英国史上3人目の女性党首の誕生ということで、故サッチャー氏を意識した装いが注目されていたトラス氏。
ハキハキとした物言いが魅力的ですし、これからの英国を力強く率いていく決意が現れている感じがして好感が持てますね。
対するスナク氏は党員投票で2万票の差を付けられており、その理由は「減税に慎重」ということが指摘されていました。
減税は庶民にとって慈雨そのものなので、日本でもぜひ実現してほしいですよね。
ちなみに減税は英語で「tax cut」となっています。
